Jana and Miro were good neighbours and friends of my parents Gordon and Millie Johnstone. We often shared many good times in their fine restaurant. My brother and his wife had their wedding dinner at the restaurant. It was beautiful. Both Jana and Miro took great pride in the food they prepared. I can still recall the wondeful apple strudel Jana baked! Jane was not a person to speak a lot of words, but when she spoke it was always worth listening to her. She was a fine lady. I do not know a lot about her life in general, but what I knew I liked very much. When my father passed away my sister in law said she recalls Jana visiting my mother with two white roses. This touched my mother's heart very much. It comes to my mind that she also had a little dog,but I cannot remember his name. I will try my best to attend the memorial, but if not able to make it I will donate some food at the pet food store, for the LAWS(Lanark County Welfare Society) in fond memory of Jana. May she and her loved ones unite in eternal peace! Sincerely,Debbie Wilson(Johnstone)
