It was my honour to know Art from St. Paul's church. There was great evidence that he was a a man of God,who was devoted to his wife and children. He was a very humble man,and I am delighted that he had a long beautiful life with you Marion.
Cherish your sweet memories, and rejoice in the fact you can be with him in eternal life!
Sincerely,Debbie Wilson

Marion I was very sad to hear of the passing of Art. I feel very privileged to have known him through you. I admired his quiet humour, his enjoyment of using a spinning wheel and his kindness to people. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Whipped Cream!
I would like to write about the time when everyone was at a church gathering and there was nothing I could eat, as I am allergic to flour. I ended up going home. When Grandpa got home, he had brought me some whipped cream in a container. He was so happy that he found something I could eat. But the only problem was that when we opened the container, it was liquid and no longer whipped cream (It was thoughtful and so funny at the same time)!

Learning to fish at Jack's Lake!
As we all know very well, Grampa Starr LOVED the cottage at Jack's Lake! And he absolutely adored the outdoors and any activities which were done outdoors, one of those activities being fishing!!! That being said, i will never forget one of my fondest memories with Grampa at Jack's Lake...he was teaching me how to fish when i was young, but no matter how long we fished for, i just could never seem to catch a fish. So Grampa thought he better test out my fishing rod and see why it wasn't working...a few minutes later, he passed me back my fishing rod, and shortly after that, I finally felt something tugging on the line....I caught a fish, whooohooo!!!! Well i thought i caught a fish...until i realized that Grampa was actually the one who had caught the fish so that i would think i caught a fish and would be excited about it!!! I still giggle everytime i think about that day!
Love you Grampa Starr xo
