I just received an email from a friend in Smiths Falls today and heard of Mary's passing. Mary was one of my Mom's best friends (Janet Watkins) and someone I considered a friend as well. I will never forget her boisterous laugh, and how warm and loving she was. When my Mom said that Mary and Howard were coming out for a visit, I always wanted to be there.
I don't know if I can make the service as I live in Paris, Ontario now but I will do my best to be there. I have a wonderful story to tell family members if they wish to contact me. I have very special memories of Mary that I will always treasure.
