Dear Family, How thankful we are for the faithfulness, fellowship and fun that has blessed us through Jim and Phyd, Jan, Stephen, Peter, Mark, John and Pep, the Philpott, Crawley, Edwards, and Keuhens. From the days at Winther Ave, 540, and Windermere,Jim and Phyd (though we were shy to call them that) became our mentors and models for faith and family life. They shared their Christian legacy generously. Jim's twinkling smile, ready wit, self effacing gracious welcome, patience, perseverance and winsome Christian spirit, have helped us to celebrate and to gather the fragments of our lives in troubled times. You all have given us the honour of being part of your extended international family. We are sorry we cannot be with you today but we pray that the gentle strength and Love of God surround and hold you who have so loved and cared for Jim in these last difficult months. We can picture Jim like Mr. Standfast in Pilgrim's Progress, having crossed the river and being welcomed with great joy into the beautiful City. Warmest love to you all, Cecelia, Christopher and Amy, Timothy and Michelle and the Dambrowitz Families along with Kay Stevenson(Anny) "Round each habitation hovering, see the cloud and fire appear, for a glory and a covering, showing that the Lord is near."
