To Joan,
I was very saddened to learn of Bruce's death. Though we had not seen each other for many years, I had a chance to chat with him at Ney's funeral in Hudson.
I have many fond memories of him going back to the days when we were in school.
I wish to express my sincerest condolences to you and his family.

I am so sorry to hear of Bruce's passing. He was always very kind to me, showing interest in my life and that of my family. I had many opportunities to enjoy his "joie de vivre" and his cooking through the years. Especially fond memories are of time spent at Ste Agathe. He was an incredibly generous person, and I benefitted greatly from having known him.
My thoughts go out to you Marlene, and the rest of your family.

Marlene and families are so deeply sorry that Bruce is no longer with us,he will always be in our memories & thought's we had such great times over the years,whether it was skiing in Ste Agathe,making his delicious ham during March break helping us heat the cottage & deal with the frozen water pipe's or sailing on your great boat,we had such good times.Our trips to Niagara on the Lake & Howe island ---just so many memories.You were always such gracious hosts,good friends and made everyone feel so welcome.
