It's sad to think that as we grow older, we are called upon so often to say goodbye to old friends and monuments of our past, Aunts and Uncles whose visits always brought fun and ...cousins!!! It's even sadder to stand by and watch them gradually wilt away when they are so sick. I know you've all had a rough ride in this respect. I will always thinks fondly of the days I stayed with your family at your house in Ottawa. I can still "see" the garden your Mom and Dad had in the back yard Their kindness will never be forgotten. Dear Brian, Cheryl, Neil and Shawn. I am deeply saddened to hear of Uncle Gord's passing. When I think of your Dad I will always remember his wonderful smile and his gentle manner. The good times we had when my family would spend weekends helping your Dad build the house on Falaise Ave. Your Dad was always my taxi when I needed a ride from the airport. When there was a family gathering at my parent's cottage your Dad was always there telling the next best fish story about the one that got away. He will be sadly missed. Cherish the memories. It's sad to think that as we grow older, we are called upon so often to say goodbye to old friends and monuments of our past, Aunts and Uncles whose visits always brought fun and ...cousins!!! Dear Brian, Cheryl, Neil and Shawn. I am deeply saddened to hear of Uncle Gord's passing. When I think of your Dad I will always remember his wonderful smile and his gentle manner.
