My sympathy to the Bingley family. I had the privilege of knowing Brian for 35 of his 50 years of quality, loyal service to Brown Shoe. He was truly one of the good guys. A hard-working, quality manager of people and processes, always willing to do whatever it took to get the job done and exceed expectations. He will be missed.

My condolences to the extended Bingley family and to the many friends and co-workers of Mr. Brian Bingley. I first became acquainted with Brian about 15 years ago and then had the pleasure of meeting him in the Brown Shoe Perth office a few years later. I have very fond memories from the several trips I made to Perth that allowed me to work directly with Brian. I admired his professionalism, leadership and integrity. I felt, like I’m sure many others who have had the opportunity to work with Brian, that we were friends. He will be greatly missed.

Brian was like a 2nd father to me since the day I started working for him over 30 years ago. I will miss him terribly. There are so many memories of him that I will treasure forever. It will be extremely difficult for me to continue on in this journey of life without him, but I will do what I think he would want me to.
Always remember that he was like family to me and if you ever need me I will be there for you like he was for me during the rough times in my life.

Errol, Maureen and family, I was saddened to learn of Brian's passing. As you know Errol I met Brian through you. Unfortunately I never had an opportunity to really get to know him well. You spoke of him proudly about his role at Brown but I was unaware he had become Vice President. I know you have a strong bond with your family and I am sure you have been deeply affected by Brian's sudden death. Ann and I often recall the very happy times we shared while we all lived so closely in Burlington. I always think of you whenever someone asks me if I golf. We had such fun together bashing balls all over the course. I always tell people I stopped playing golf when I lost you as my partner. Just wasn't the same. I hope you and your family are well Errol. Take care of yourself. Your old friend Fred

Brian was a very special person to me. I had the pleasure and honour of working with him for all of my career. The values he instilled in me will go with me forever. Losing him is like losing a part of who I am. His memory will live with me always in my heart and there won't be a day that goes by that I won't think about him or be reminded of him. Always there to offer his help and advice unconditionally and without question. His dedication to what he believed in was unsurpassed. A very special friend as well as colleague. My thoughts and prayers go out to his wonderful family whom he was so proud of and spoke of often. Brian will live on forever in my thoughts and daily life. I will always be wondering what would Brian do and what would Brian think about it. I will carry all of my special memories with me always. I will miss him terribly and God please look after him - he is one of the special ones.

I was fortunate to have worked with Brian many years ago at Brown Shoe, and will never forget the pure and untouchable example of excellence, pride and dedication he always showed in his work. I have honoured these memories many times with past and present colleagues and will always remember him with the highest respect. Obviously, he will be greatly missed by all his family, friends, colleagues, and the whole footwear industry to which he devoted his life. He was a firm, yet fair individual who showed the world how to run a tight ship, and I am grateful to have learned from him. It was an honour to have been an extension of Brian's team. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time. - Elizabeth.

I am so very sorry to hear about Brian. He and I worked together on the Naturalizer North America project and many other projects. He was a great partner with an amazing work ethic and wonderful sense of humor. I will really miss him as I could count on him to know everything Canada related and talk to him about anything. He was a great friend. I'm sorry as it is a loss for all of us still here.
