Wanless, Frieda A. (nee Troutman) Passed away peacefully in Merrickville on Saturday, July 9, 2011 in her 94th year. Beloved wife and best friend of the late J. Hawley Wanless. Devoted mother of Joan (Bob) Maddock, of Brockville, Sue (Wayne) Patterson, of Bass Lake, Richard (Susan Carpenter) Wanless, of Kingston, Nancy Wanless, of Kilmarnock, and Karen (Mark) White, of Smiths Falls. Cherished grandmother of Kevin (Kim) Maddock, Craig (Susan) Maddock, Kyle (Caitlin Hynes-Dobson) White, Eric (Sophia Wirth) White, and Brecon White; and will be fondly remembered by her several great-grandchildren, her nieces, nephews and many extended family. Frieda is predeceased by her parents Richard and Martha (nee Genrich) Troutman, her sisters Vera, Mabel and Erma; as well as her brothers John, Richard and Arthur. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Falls on Tuesday, July 12, 2011 from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service to celebrate Frieda's life will take place in the chapel on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Wolford Cemetery.
