I've known Ben since Kindergarden. He truley was the life of every party. And a great friend to many people. Even though I wasn't close friends with Ben like so many were, I was taken off gaurd when I heard the news. Knowing him for most of my life, to me he always seemed to put his friends and family before himself. I was in his english class this past year. Him listening to ACDC and making jokes was just Ben. He will be truley missed by all. I'm soo glad to have met him. For the Family and friends of such an Awesome guy, I'm sorry for your loss. Ben may you rest in peace. gunna miss you <3

Ben was a great guy, he made everyone laugh. His smile would light up the room as soon as he walked through the door. He was respectable to everyone's feelings. I've known Ben for 14 years of my life, from meeting him in kindergarden to graduating grade 8 with him. And of course we went into grade 9, I saw him less but when i did see him, he always smiled. In grade 12 English I remember he lost a bet and shave the middle part of his head, it was hilarious, wasn't really a good look but we all laughed. Ben knew how to make people laugh.
No one dies, they live on forever in the hearts of who loved them and in the minds of those who cared about them. Ben will live on in the hearts and minds of his family and friends. I know he will be looking down at everyone and smiling that handsome smile we all love. We weren't the best of friends but I miss him alot and I am so sorry for your loss. Prayers go out to Lawerence, Colleen, Curtis and David.
Rest In Peace Ben ;; you will be missed <3
-love your friend Kylie Dowdall

My heart truly goes out to the Rogers family and those of us who have been fortunate enough to get to know Ben. The impact he has had on so many of us is obvious. He was a leader to some, a friend to many and always the life of the party. In the 4 years i knew Ben, he was nothing but kind to me and I have nothing but respect for him. Ben will be greatly missed but also fondly remembered. He is in a better place now and can continue to smile down on us from above. -Colin

Ben, i hate that im in Alberta right now.. like i really wish i could be there showing my support today and tomorrow. You meant alot to everyone, why do the good die young? It broke my heart when i heard the news..through a text message. I saw on facebook someone wrote "rip ben" and i was really hoping it wasnt you. Everything happens for a reason, but this has got my confused. It was far too soon. If anything you've probably inspired many to live life by having fun. Because looking back we can all see you had alot of fun, and you were happy, always smiling, that says something. You had a good life while you were on this Earth. Your laugh always made me smile. The impact you made on peoples lives wont soon be forgotten. You had an amazing spirit. I'll miss you, as well as so so many others. Im so very sorry to your whole family ben.... i cant imagine what they must be going through. Say hi to Shawn, and Jesse. Rest in peace Ben <3

There are no words that can take away the pain of your loss. Some things are just to hard to understand. But through the pain love will last forever and in all our hearts, the love for Ben will remain strong. All our love and support is with you.
If tears could build a stairway,
And memories were a lane,
We would walk right up to heaven
To bring you down again.
No farewell words were spoken,
No time to say good-bye.
You were gone before we knew it,
And only God knows why.
Our hearts still ache in sadness
And secret tears still flow,
What it meant to lose you,
No one will ever know.
When we are sad and lonely,
And everything goes wrong,
We seem to hear you whisper
"Cheer up and carry on."
Each time we look at your pictures,
You seem to smile and say,
"Don't cry, I'm only sleeping,
We'll meet again someday."

THE CORD
We are connected my child and I
An invisible cord not seen by the eye
It's not like the cord that connects us til birth
This cord can't be seen here on earth
This cord does it's work right from the start
It binds us together, attatched to my heart
I know that it's there, though no one can see
The invisible cord, from my child to me
The strength of this cord,is hard to describe
It can't be destroyed,it can't be denied
It's stronger than any cord, that man could create
It withstands the test,it holds any weight
And though you are gone, though you're not here with me
The cord is still there, but no one can see
It pulls at my heart,I am bruised,I am sore
But this cord is my lifeline as never before
I am thankful that God connects us this way
A mother and a child,death can't take away
