Wood, Maria Palma November 12, 1944 - August 14, 2011 It is with great sadness that we announce the death on August 14, 2011 of Maria Palma (Lemmo) Wood, surrounded by her children, at the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, where she fought a courageous battle with cancer. Loving, devoted and cherished wife of Ed, and loving mother to Angelina (Guillaume Genin) and Edward. Loving Nona to Emma. Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday, August 19, 2011 from 11:00 to 1:00 at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 112 Beckwith Street North, Smiths Falls, ON, K7A 2C3, followed by a celebration of Maria's life which will be held in the chapel. Interment at Hillcrest Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined, but if so desired, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, or charity of your choice.
