Shields, Rita Elizabeth In hospital in Perth Ontario on Sunday August 21st, 2011 at the age of 65 years. Rita was the cherished mother of Alexander Woof of RR#6, Perth; loved sister of Enid (Martin) Lumb of Dronfield, United Kingdom and auntie of Rachel and Elliott Lumb. She was predeceased by her parents John and Florence (Banham) Shields of the United Kingdom. Rita was a valued volunteer with Community Home Support of Lanark County. The service to honour Rita's life will be held privately for the family with cremation to follow. A memorial and interment of urn will take place later with her family and friends in the United Kingdom.
