Cox, Joan Grace Peacefully in hospital in Perth on Saturday September 3rd, 2011, Joan Grace Cox (nee Freeman); born in Ilford England to Gladys Jackson and Charles Freeman. Joan was the wife of the late Nelson John Cox, mother to Douglas (Susan) Cox of Perth, Mary (Elliott) Caldwell of Espanola, Susan (William) Bowes of Smiths Falls and Stephen (Diane) Cox of Perth. Grandmother to Andrew Gillespie, Bruce Gillespie, Simon Caldwell, Jake Caldwell, Greg Cox, Sarah Christie, Erin Tsarouhas, Adam Bowes, John Bowes, Julianne Cox and great grandmother to Charlotte Christie, Billy and Evie Tsarouhas, Elizabeth Cox and Aubree Bowes; very special friend to Kay Frizell and Jeanette Crimes. Joan was sister to David Bailey of Airdrie Alberta, Alan Bailey of Truro Nova Scotia and Ruth Fourney of Bainsville Ontario; she will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. The funeral service to honour Joan's life will be held in the chapel of the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W., Perth on Tuesday September 6th, 2011 at 10:30 A.M. immediately followed by a reception in the Blair & Son Family Centre. In remembrance, contributions to the local Salvation Army or fund of one's choice would be appreciated.
