I had just recently learned that Eldon was sick; so I am totally shocked to hear of his demise. I so so sorry that you are all going through the loss of Eldon. It is always so hard to come to terms with the loss of a loved one. He certainly was quite a character. It was quite evident that he loved living on the farm and tending to his array of unique chickens. I first met Eldon way back when we both were kids and my family was living out the Brockville Highway. He was a cousin to the Martin family across the road from us; hence his middle name.
I extend my deepest sympathies to all of you.
