Phillips, Kenneth W. C. "...and this was my beloved" October 4, 2011, at home surrounded by his family, our dear and loved Husband, Father, and Grandfather left us. He leaves to mourn in deep and everlasting sorrow, his beloved wife Zena; his treasured children Maxine, Andrew (Alison), Jennifer (Paul) and Jillian; his precious grandchildren Nikki, Nathan, Keegan, Tobias, Hailee, Emma, Jordan, Alexia, Grace and Lilly. Ken and Zena were married in the United Kingdom on December 26, 1953. Ken's quiet strength and his dedication to family made for a cherished 57 years of marriage. Not one unkind word did he ever speak. Ken will forever be remembered as a truly wonderful father. Always patient with his children, he was unfailingly willing to support their many ventures in life. His gentle, kind voice will be an everlasting memory. Immensely proud of his children, Ken was surrounded by their infinite love and support in his final days. Ken was the proud grandfather of ten loveable and loving grandchildren. Ken's quiet enjoyment of all of his grandchildren's personalities and expressions gave him great pleasure. He was a man for his grandchildren to admire. An avid golfer, Ken was a long time member of the Smiths Falls Golf & Country Club, one of his fondest memories was the achievement of a "hole in one". His finest achievement by far though was his family. Words cannot express the void this husband, father, and grandfather will leave in our hearts. We are comforted in knowing that we have in "Our Dad" the gift of a Guardian Angel. "Safe trip Dad". A private family service was held at Ken's request.
