Retired Manager Lanark County Ambulance Service (Smiths Falls) and Peoples’ Warden of St. John The Evangelist Anglican Church, Smiths Falls. Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family on Friday, October 19, 2012 at the age of 61. Beloved husband and best friend of Patricia (Trish) Warren. Much loved and respected father of Kyle (Jennifer) Warren, Melanie (Chris) Hull, Kelly (Jeremy) Bremner and step-father of Tracie King (Jose Proulx). Sadly missed by his grandchildren Ariana, Lauren and Coby. Brother of Bill (Pat) Warren. Predeceased by brothers Howard, Allan, three infant children and sister Marion (late Bill) Seed. Brother-in-law of Irene Warren and Marilyn Dalton-Warren. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, extended family, many friends, co-workers and the many people he helped throughout his career. Rick will be forever remembered for his tireless efforts helping the less fortunate in our community through his Church and many other volunteer groups, helping those most in need. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 112 Beckwith St. N., Smiths Falls on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at St. John The Evangelist Anglican Church, Smiths Falls on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to St. John’s Anglican Church Memorial Fund, the Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society.
