Fowlie, Marguerite J. "Margy" (Nee Nichol) Passed away peacefully at Broadview Nursing Centre, surrounded by her family at her side on Sunday, January 18, 2015 at the age of 80. Beloved wife for over 60 years and best friend of Bill Fowlie of Smiths Falls. Devoted mother of Debbie (Jack) Saunders of Smiths Falls, Ernie (Rita) Fowlie of Smiths Falls and Cindy (Kevin) Sheil of Perth. Margy was a proud grandmother to her 8 special grandchildren Angie (Jason) Dalgleish, Wendy (Scott) Atkins, Emily Saunders, Fred (Holly) Saunders, Bethany and Charisma Fowlie, Melissa and Chelsea Sheil and her 3 great grandchildren Teegan, Danika and Jorja Dalgleish. She was predeceased by her brothers Lloyd, Harold and sister Mary Nichol. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Smiths Falls on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place in the Chapel on Thursday at 1 p.m. officiated by Malcom MacIntosh. Interment Hillcrest Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions may be made in Margy's name to the Broadview Nursing Centre Resident's Activity Fund.
