Iona, We are thinking of you in this time of sorrow. It is hard to say goodbye to someone you love. Remeber the good times. I was very sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I worked at Larry's Grocery's as the baker and every time I saw Bob there was always a smile and "good day-how are you". He was a fixture in the Greely community and will be missed.

Memories of Bob I shall always remember when Bob and Iona would come to 210 Beta Street.  they were such a fun loving couple.  Bob always made me feel very special as a young girl.  He always reminded me of John Wayne.  When I told him that he informed me that John Wayne was his favorite actor.  One weekend I went to Perth with Bob and Iona and we stayed at my Aunt Lulu and Uncle Bob's.  Bob decided it was time I learnt how to shoot a shot gun.  That was the first time I shot a shot gun and I fell flat on my rear.  The laughter was abundant.  I remember many venison dinners at Bob and Iona's and how much fun it was.  There are so many memories.  Bob was a very caring man.  After the passing of my husband. Bob would often call me to talk and to keep me occupied so I would not dirt into sadness and he always stayed in touch.  I will miss you and those calls!

Robert It is with great sadness that I learned of his passing today.  I was just there and visitied on Saturday. We sat and talked about hunting and stuff from when he was a kid. and Uncle Bob Grant shooting a Moose with the 22 I think he was looking forward to eatign the moose I had brought him. We were talking about him having a reunion again but he said that it was to much work joked about having it catered.   It was a big thing him putting on his reunion he really enjoyed doing them.  Got to make his beans and cabbage rolls.  He liked too cook. especially from the Grant cook book. and making his wine. Ive had many a conversations with Uncle Robert since I moved to Kingston and got to see him quite a bit. We will miss hearing from him.   Im sure he  is up there visiting with Gram & Gramp, Dad and the others A prayer for Robert and Iona Lord bless our deceased loved one.  Grant him your mercy and peace, Lead him to your embrace. Lord be near to Aunt Iona and them who are grieving now. Sustain them with your comfort, support them with your guidance, Give them the courage they need to honor the memory of Robert and their feelings of loss, that they may heal and carry on.  God Bless Nephew  Richard
