Sorry for the lost of your brother Les-I am sure you have tons of memories with Dick that will help you get through the saddness of losing him-sending you tons of love and support at this sad time.
I went through RMC and Navigator training with Dick. He was always a very kind man with a great sense of humor. He will be missed. My deepest condolences to his family.
Andree and I pass on our sincere condolences. Dick was a close friend at Royal Roads and then RMC. Looking back at photos from Roads, I am struck by how young we looked in those days. Time has passed. Sending our best wishes to the family.

My condolences to Dick's family. He was a classmate at Royal Roads and RMC and a rugby team mate at Roads. A great sprinter at college and a great guy to be around.

Dick was a classmate of mine at Military Colleges Royal Roads and RMC. More particularly, we were fellow Civil Engineers and both in the RCAF. I lost touch with Dick as we went our separate routes in the RCAF and then into civilian careers.
My condolences to all Family members on this untimely loss of a fine man.
I was saddened to read of the passing of Dick in the Ottawa Citizen. Dick and I parted ways after our graduation from SFDCI in 1960. My sincere condolences to the family.

My sincere condolences to you and your family. I remember meeting Dick for the first time at a family party when we were back from our first year at university and immediately getting a sense of him as a man of incredible humour, warmth and presence. I know how much you loved him and how much he meant to your entire family. Lots of love during this time, Lesley (and family).
I had the pleasure of working as Dick's secretary for 5 years at Cassels Brock back in 1981-1986. In the 5 years I worked with him, I never saw him in a bad mood. He was an awesome boss to work with! From his "Captain Canada" status at Cassels or his teaching us the "Smith Falls Stomp" at the Christmas Party, he will be greatly missed. My condolences to his family.

I had the pleasure of working with Dick for many years in the construction law group at Cassels Brock. He was always cheery and had a quick smile even when he was marking up my drafting as a young lawyer. He made practising law seem fun. I remember him telling fond stories about Rita and his kids, and his boat the Rita May. I am sorry for your loss. He was a wonderful man and I shall miss him.

Dale and I were so sorry to hear of Dick's passing. Dan and Sylvia had been keeping us up dated but it still came as a terrible shock. Dick and I were flight and team mates at Roads, and class mates in Civil Eng. at RMC so we went through quite a lot together. He was always an enthusiastic and supportive member of the group and a wonderful friend and companion throughout. I have many fond memories of those times together. It has always been a pleasure to meet and visit with both of you at the many reunions since. He will be missed but not forgotten. Our sincere condolences to you and all of the family.
