May the fond memories carry you all through this difficult time. Leonard and brother Allan were foster children for many years on my grand-parents farm in Dalhousie Twp near Watson's Corners, and later moved into Perth with my Grandmother, Pearl Echlin. I remember him well from there. In later years he was a hard worker and had a great soul who loved everyone he met... thinking of you all!

Amy and I have cherished a special friendship for many years since she was my Mystery Friend at church. Leonard and I enjoyed many conversations over the years. I enjoyed watching him dance at this years Stewart Park Festival. Leonard would start to dance and then others joined in. May special memories help to console you as you grieve.

Leonard was one of the kindest people I had ever met, I worked with him for 20 years at the hospital and he considered all of us as his family and vice versa with us, many good times and I am glad I have some photos of those times, the one on my computer shows him the way he came into work every day a big smile on his face, will miss seeing him walking and stopping to chat for a few minutes. rest in peace Len.
