It was always a joy to visit May on Haggart street. She spoke so fondly and proud of her children and grandchildren. We shared many thoughts about life... its up and downs, our would have, should have reflections.

A game well played in this place called LIFE
My heart will always smile when I think of May. She was a resident at Lanark Lodge and I was her Nurse but to me it was more than that. She made coming to work fun. I enjoyed our many chats about her family , my family, the latest sport stats with the Jays or Sens. She didn't hold it against me that I was a LEAFS fan. I got to know her facial expressions and eye rolling quite well. I could usually figure out and determine the root cause to most things. I'd come in, in the morning and she'd say,"Did you see that game last night?";....I knew it wasn't good when she'd give me that look and roll her eyes. She'd fill me in on her kids and grandkids adventures and sometimes their mishaps (Donna) if there is anything I know for sure it is that she loved her family and they loved and adored her. What a reflection of what a great Mom she was..that her kids were always up to visit take her out or calling from afar. I will miss her terribly but I have many memories that make me smile. So glad to have had the privilege of being her Nurse.
