I met this wonderful lady in the 70's when we adopted two small orange kitties under her care. Dawn and I exchanged Christmas cards with 'update notes' for many years and its only been the last few years that I lost touch with her address. I've only today found this obituary notice. I still have her last letter to me - much treasured. My deepest sympathy on the loss of this remarkable woman who made the world a kinder place for those without a voice.
