Francis Savage posted a condolence
D'Arcy will be well remembered as a wonderfully kind generous and knowledgeable soul with a superb sense of humor and keen wit.
We trust he has now found peace and do hope that his suffering over these past weeks was not too grave and that he was able to find considerable solace in being surrounded by family and friends in Perth.
My deepest condolences first and foremost to you Linda and likewise to Brenda, Jennifer. Allison and David along with all the immediate and extended Brooks family members touched by his departing.
Here is wishing you all the utmost in strength and courage throughout this difficult time. RIP D'Arcy!
With great sympathy from Spain,
Francis, Martin Efe and Aydin Spencer Savage

Dear Linda and Family,
Meg and I were sorry to hear of Darcy's passing. He certainly had a full and eventful life as well as a most successful career. He was one of the first partners I got to know when I started at B&E and I respected his wisdom and wise counsel, as well as his friendship.

Sandy Small Proudfoot posted a condolence
Dear Linda,
I'm so sorry to read of D'Arcy's death. The years pass, we loose track of friends we've had, our children grow up and we move on. Neither of us are no longer in the Kingsway area, a home to many good friends in years past. Just wanted to connect to say, I'm aware and thinking of you now,
Sincerely,
Sandy Small Proudfoot,
Mono, Ontario.

Brian Philbrook & the Gloster family posted a condolence
Sad to learn of D'Arcy's passing. His father, Dr Eddie, and my mother, Frances Cecilia Gloster, were first cousins. D'Arcy's grandmother, Frances Mary Gloster, was my mother's aunt. In 1984, D'Arcy helped us with an intestacy of another cousin of my mother, named Frances Elizabeth Gloster. I knew Bill from St Michael's College School.

Linda and family. Janey and I were saddened to learn of D'Arcy's illness and then his death.
Above all I had the greatest of respect for D'Arcy as a lawyer and eventually my partner at Borden Elliot.
Were it not for D'Arcy, I would not have articled at the Firm and would not have had the opportunity to work with such a fine man.
Courtesy and empathy were his hallmarks.
I know you will miss him so.

LInda, Doug and I send our sincere condolences to you and your extended family. He will be dearly missed I am sure. Christie Lake will miss him. The first time I saw him was at a Christie Lake dance. He was dancing with one of your daughters in a grand D'Arcy style. Afterwards he came over and j troduced himself to me. I had just made my return to the lake after many years. I said to myself, "he is one of the good ones". You know what I mean. He left his mark many ways. Gone but never forgotten.
