Your father was a very interesting man. Always enjoyed working with him at Hershey's. He dropped out one weekend to watch the regatta from our dock we enjoyed the day with him. Our hearts were saddened when we heard of his passing as he was a true friend in so many ways.

We were saddened to hear of Bill’s passing but he is together once again with his Sweet Marie. Anytime we were in Perth, it was always a pleasure to be in his company. He was a true gentleman. We have fond memories when we hosted them in Trenton and on Lake Ontario. We will miss him.

Dear Shawn and Stephanie;
We were saddened to hear of your Dad’s passing. Although we never had the honour of meeting him, we’re sure he was a wonderful person. A father who raised a son such as you, Shawn, had to have been loving and kind. May he Rest In Peace.

Uncle Bill,
As I reflect today through pictures and memories, I realize how fortunate I was to be a small part of your life from childhood through to adulthood. We went from Soda and chips to a wee rum and a handful of nuts, boat tours and many, many laughs. Thank you for all the special memories, I will cherish them always.
Until our next happy hour, Cheers!

To the Howie family:
We just learned of Bill's passing and send our sincerest condolences. What a wonderful, gentle soul. We had many fun times over the years on Otty Lake with Marie and Bill, playing euchre, boating, sitting in the "Elvis" room, etc. Having many memories helps to get through this sad and difficult time. Please know we keep them both in our prayers.
