My sincere sympathy to Peggy's family. Peggy was just as you clearly described. I knew Peggy and Jack on the farm, at St. Paul's United Church, and at Probus Club where she so loved to participate with suggestions and attending social events. May all of your cherished memories help to console you.
I am sorry that I cannot attend the celebration of Peggy's life.

Such sad news to hear. 'Intrepid' is a wonderful word to capture the essence of Peggy.
Nancy and I were privileged to be neighbours and friends, while she and Jack, lived on the 'Uppity Scotch Line'. Many good times were enjoyed. We had the opportunity to spend a lovely afternoon with her on her back deck, several years ago, catching up. She will definitely be missed.
Our thoughts are with the family and the many who knew her.

Our deepest condolences on Peggy's passing. We knew her before we came to Perth when she was involved with the Ballet in Ottawa and then with her work to build a theatre in Perth. She and Jack "introduced us" to Perth with such fun times at the farm on the house in town. A generous, caring lady who loved her family very much, much sympathy.

I'm so sorry to hear this. Peggy was a lovely woman with a delicious sense of humour. I first met her when I was editor at The Courier and she had just moved to town and became involved with the Perth Theatre Project. She was such a hard-working volunteer and always kept the newsroom up to date on all the happenings and events. Years later my daughter cut her lawn at the house in the country. She was always so kind to Sheena. Thinking of the family at this difficult town.

As a member of Open Circle, I observed Peggy's wide range of knowledge and interests, her curiosity and rapier wit. She was a woman with zest and panache. It was clear she loved deeply and was loved deeply in return. My sympathies to the family and all who knew Peggy well. I, like so many others, will miss her.

Liz, Doug, Blair and families -- We're both sorry for the loss of your mum, mum in law, and grandmother.. Peggy & Jack were good friends to my (Ann's) parents, Jack & Betty, and I "inherited" that friendship, and then Peggy welcomed Phil into the circle. We won't be able to attend on Saturday -- we're in Fredericton for the academic year. I'm glad that I ran into you, Liz, with Peggy this past summer while you were shopping on Gore St. That was the last time I saw Peggy. Perth will be diminished without her! I will email in the next couple of weeks.
Lovely photo of her!
