When I think of Uncle Bob, I think of him as a gentle giant! Unassuming, gracious and welcoming. He loved everyone and we all knew it. Together, they were a force to be enviied and raised a lovely, respectable family. A true love story. What I hold most dear is their tradition of saying the rosary together every night! That is one of the most romantic things I have ever heard! We know you are in Heaven looking over your family. Our thoughts and prayers are wiith them

Dear Elizabeth and sons: I remember Bob so fondly from our days at the Black Lake family cottage once owned by my parents Rita and Clem Hitsman. I remember Bob playing the spoons at those great summer parties you guys used to have at your cottage.
I was glad to have had the chance to re-connect with Bob and Elizabeth in recent years and share some Black Lake memories.
Bob you will be remembered as a man who always had a smile on your face. I can still remember my father and Bob fixing the cottage road together and laughing it up. These are good memories!
