Lisa Rutherford posted a condolence

Words cannot express what a wonderful woman Jean was. I met her early in my career and she taught me about the person I wanted to be. Then a few years later she became a family friend (I'm Jim and Iola Rutherford's granddaughter.) Then I was so happy to reconnect with her at Barb's hairdressing. She exemplified kindness and showed loved to everyone she met. A true angel on earth that touched so many lives and will never be forgotten. My sincere condolences to her family.

Sound of Music My favorite memory was when Jean took my Mom (Bonnie Leonard - who didn't drive) and I to the Soper Theater in Smiths Falls, in the 1960's, to see The Sound of Music. What a thrill that was!
