Dear Larry, Scott and Jodi....I am so sorry to hear that you have lost your precious wife and Mom. I have many happy memories of our hockey experiences and whenever I met Brenda around town we always caught up on each of our families. Brenda was always so proud of her family and she always made you feel that she was happy to see you...those will be some of my memories of her. I heard the announcement on Lake88 today and was saddened to hear this. She was a lovely lady who always smiled and always spoke to me when I saw her. If I remember correctly, Scott or Jodi was born on Christmas Day too! She will continue to spread joy and I will remember her smile and friendly conversations.

I was saddened to learn of Brenda’s sudden passing. Her presence will be surely missed, first and foremost by each of you as her precious family, but also by our community and by the many volunteer endeavours she participated in. I first met Brenda at Lombardy Public School as school nurse. Over the years whenever our paths crossed, most recently during the past month, I would receive updates and be shown pictures from this proud Momma and adoring Nana. Family was everything to Brenda! Her legacy will live on in each of you. May the Lord be with you during this season of grieving and may He tenderly comfort you with His care and compassion. Sorrow runs deep, but love runs deeper!

Larry, Scot and Jodi. We lost such a loving human being. She loved you and the Grandkids so very much. You all met the world to her. She always wanted to share with everyone how proud she was of you. The past few days, fond memories of Brenda have flooded back to me.She never let a time go by that she never reminded me of some of the crazy and special times we had as kids. The family bbqs when a special aunt came to visit, the times she go and watch hockey games I was playing in so worried I would get hurt. The time one her cats decided to hang on underneath our car when we returned back to the farm after a Sunday visit, poor Brenda she was so shocked when she found out where her cat went. She loved her cats, especially the orange ones!!! Kindness was always bubbling out of Brenda and as I grew up she taught me a lot of what kindness can do for you and others. My dear cousin Brenda, I am going to miss you. You were my big Sister in all aspects.

So shocked when I read of Brenda's passing. Larry, Scott and Jodi I am so very sorry for your loss especially at this time in our world when we can not meet together.
I have many great memories of Brenda when I was very young. My grandparents Ida and Walter Whiten would take me out to the house to visit and we would bake cookies and have tea. Brenda taught me how to ride a two wheeler bike on the side road by the house. My mother Dolores Whiten Moss always spoke of Brenda's mother with such kind words. Uncle Alex delivered the mail at my Nana's house. He was a very kind man and always had a little visit. To the children and grandchildren... you are blessed with a wonderful heritage.
