Susan, I just became aware of your Father’s passing. I’m so sorry for your loss. I didn’t know your dad, but the name “Milo” was very familiar in our house since our fathers worked together at Brown Shoe Co. My Dad had the highest regard for you father and I think they did a lot of work together. Treasure your wonderful memories.

Susan. Debbie, David and family - so sorry to hear of the passing of your dad, so many wonderful memories of being neighbours at Otty Lake for years. It was so nice to see him and Dave last fall at Joan's memorial service. He always called at Xmas time for a chat and talk about family. He was one in a million a true gentleman and loved his family so much. He will be missed but is now with the love of his life.

Milo was a special person with many talents. He had a gentle and kind soul.
I remember we celebrated Christmas and parties, etc, and he could cook the turkey and play the piano and make everyone feel welcomed. There will be a special place in Heaven for Milo.
Our heartfelt sympathy and virtual hugs to his family.
Sorry, we just saw this announcement, a week late.

I am so so sorry for your loss. He was close to a saint. My memory is when I came out from Metro and found my tire to my horror was flat and I was on my way to a a meeting at Lanark Lodge. I bravely Opened my trunk when this gentleman man came over and said let me do that for you! It was Milo who I knew of but had never met. He got the job done quickly and I asked him for his name and I gave mine. I recognized his name and I told him I was married to JQ! This sealed for me what a fine man he was reaching out to those in need. You will all miss him. Wynn

Dear Susan, Debbie, David and all the family,
Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers more than you will ever know. We will always remember Milo as someone special. The love he had for his family and Otty Lake home was off the charts. We were lucky and grateful to have shared so many memories. Milo was a rock-solid good man who lived a great life. You were blessed to have such a wonderful soul as your patriarch. He was however missing his beautiful Nancy and was ready for the journey - she waited long enough. Our hearts are singing knowing they are together again forever. The branches on your family tree are a lasting testament of their devotion. Hoping that you find comfort in the love of family and in the heartfelt virtual embraces of friends. Treasure your memories – as will we. Love Pauline and Greg Williams (nee Kolarik)

Dear Susan, Debbie, David, and families,
Our sincere condolences on the passing of your Dad.
We feel very blessed to have gotten to know Milo while he lived beside us at Otty Lake.
He was an inspiration to us and our boys - a very special man who set us all an example by living his Christian faith every day.
His kindness and thoughtfulness to us as a family will always be remembered and treasured. Whether it was listening to him play hymns on the piano while we sat around the firepit at night, sharing a meal or glass of wine together, helping repair our cottage plumbing, preparing me a delicious breakfast as a thankyou for helping him fix his boathouse, giving rides on his 4X4 to our boys, enjoying Victoria Day or Canada Day fireworks with him and his extended family - the memories are many and very special.
Every time I use the red weed rake he bequeathed me when he made the difficult decision to sell his Otty Lake home, or look at the rock garden by the lake he helped us set up, or swim to the raft he made, I think of him and the great times we had together.
God bless you all at this difficult time & please know that our love and prayers are with you.
Bruce, Charlotte, Robert, Andrew, and Peter Youngson
