I was so sorry to hear of Aunt Gladys passing and my heart felt condolences to the entire family. I have fond memories of Aunt Gladys and my mom (Dick's sister, Shirley) spoke of so many wonderful memories. I remember my mom telling me about the time they had to go to the airport waiting for someone, and she was wearing her dancing dress from an event the night before, and she was worried about not having enough time to change and Dick made/cut her dress shorter so she didn't have to worry. I am not sure I got all the details remembered, but I laughed and laughed. As well, she worked for the Brown Shoe Company and couldn't wear the shoes or something too, due to her size? I might have remembered that not quite right either, but there was something to be said, all those shoes. So much fun those two had together and so much life and joys. Aunt Gladys was a wonderful person who touched many lives and family was so important to her. She'll be with Uncle Dick now, but I know she will be missed by so many. ((((hugs)))
