My deepest condolences to Randy's family. I have known Randy since the early '70's. I worked at Shaw's Men's Wear when Randy ran Teak Hair Fashions downstairs. There is a memory I can share... It was 1974, Randy and I planned a shopping trip to Montreal to buy clothes. We drove to Ottawa in Randy's black Plymouth Barracuda (of which he was very proud) and slept on the floor of a friend's apartment to then catch an early train to Montreal. He bought many new clothes (he was always a fashion icon) and I bought an overcoat and baggy pants. On returning to work at Shaw's the following day, Walter Bromley, who ran the Men's Wear Department, told me that I could not wear the baggy pants to work because Shaw's did not sell such things. The Shaw sisters did not see a problem and soon after Shaw's Men's wear sold baggies. Thanks Randy for making this memory with me... Rest in peace!

You were a special guy Randy, one of a kind. Before you passed away I was so thankful to have that talk and tell you how much I really appreciated and admired you. You had always said that when something happens to you, its okay, that you had the best life. I believe that. The stories you would tell me always made me laugh. I will always miss your jokes, your sense of humour and presence in our office. Condolences to your daughters, family and friends. Rest in peace Randy, im lucky to have known you, xo Sheri D'Aoust

I could probably write a book about deeds and misdeeds that RC and I experienced together. Ski trips, Fly-in golf trips, ( including white knuckle emergency landings ) bars visited, parties held, boats sailed, windsurfing, on and on. RC, you worked hard, played hard and made life interesting. RIP old friend. My condolences to all RC's family.

Condolences to Randy's family, Randy cut our hair when we were in younger back in the late 60's. We laughed about it later when it came up at a real estate meeting! Randy was known for his flair no matter if off to show homes or trip to the grocery.

Randy and I worked together at the old Cameo Beauty shop in the mid sixties, he being responsible for my hire . He was a very talented hair stylist and soon he was looking for a job in the city. I eventually returned the favour by suggesting , my then boss, should hire him. He was interviewed and won the job in Cornelia Beauty Shops, with him being the only male stylist of a approximately 14 women stylists. Randy blended in famously with the other staff and customers. His claim to fame at that time was when a customer of mine needed someone to come to her home to cutand style her son and his friends' hair. I was expecting my first child and suggested that Randy would gladly do it. So Randy cut the hair of the son and friends , who were members of the well known band " The Jefferson Airplane " and my customers son's name was Yorma Koukonen and his parents were living in Ottawa as Swedish ambassidors . We would often run into each other in town and there was always a giggle about the days of working in Perth and Ottawa. My sincere condolences to Randy's girls and family. RIP in peace old friend. I will miss catching up with you .
