Dave had a big heart and a big smile and left us with so many happy memories. Memories of concerts, lunches & dinners, getting together at friend's homes (In particular his birthday celebration highlighting "THE cake" & "Counsellor Dave"). He will be so missed at our reunions in the summer - they just won't be the same. Since he stopped driving his long hauls I have been missing his phone calls as he rolled through Barrie on his way North.
When we have our heavenly reunion Dave, as usual you bring the ice cream and I will bring the cones and yes there will be more than 1 box.

We were so sad to hear of Dave’s sudden passing. It was just last week we were laughing and joking around at the camp. Dave was like a third grandfather to our boys. They always brought him so much joy and we all adored him. Dave was always the first person to lend a helping hand or give you the shirt off his back. We will forever miss that big bright smile and the morning salutes of “hello my neighbour” ricocheting through the camp ground in the early morning. The campground will not be the same without our dear friend. Rest in paradise Davey. You will forever live on in our hearts and memories and we will always smile and think of you as our kids rip around in their toy truck just like Dave’s.
Love and miss you dearly xo.

It is with a heavy heart I hear of the passing of the little guy, I have known Sparky for almost fifty years and to say he was a great guy is an understatement. He was a five foot and a half inch, (and don’t ever forget the half inch), package of love, laughter and a crazy lust for life. Sparky lived most of his life in the cab of a truck. The bigger the truck the better he liked it. I can still see him wheeling into my station and that big smile when he jumped out of the cab. I will miss you little buddy. Hope your dancing up a storm. RIP until we meet again.
Anne, Joanne and Steve, Laurie and family, our deepest condolences. He was a great dad, granddad, partner and friend. May his memories always be with you, as you grieve his passing.

To the family of Dave Sharp.
Our condolences for your loss. This news was shocking and I can’t imagine how our group of friends will re-engage in the near future without Dave’s physical presence, yet I do know that he will be among us. He’s not one to be forgotten.
Dave was fun, he was a friend and it was always inspiring to observe his determination to defeat his demons.
He walked a path behind a smiling face, but there was grit in his features as he put one foot in front of the other trying to find fulfillment.
Rest In Peace Sharpy.
