Our dear and beautiful Pat has left us all bereft. How privileged we were to have known and loved her for over 50 years. How joyous to have shared in some of the most special events of her wonderful life too. She was and knew how truly blessed she was with her beautiful family and her beloved Jimmy. We will never forget her laughter and feigned disapproval whenever Jimmy told the same joke. We will never forget such a bright light in our lives. Dear Jim and family, I was so sorry to read about the passing of Pat. I met the two of you in Ottawa at the hospital when you were sick and my husband, John was being treated for lymphoma. You and Pat were such an inspiration to me and after John passed I looked forward to bumping into the two of you and chatting at different community events. I loved your sense of humour and courage as I know Pat did and want you to know how sad I am that you have lost her. Pat was such a lovely lady. My sincere condolences to you and the family.
