I remember the Bennett.s from 63 years ago when they lived on Adelaide St, in Ottawa. My mother babysat for the Bennetts for a few years. We lived on Howick place. Id like to send my condolences to Linda. Brent and Brad. Randy.s children and their mother My mother and I both remembered your family with great Fondness.

In Memory of Randy Bennett I would like to say a few words about Randy as a personal tribute. I met Randy as partner to my sister-in-law Denise. Randy was a dedicated partner to Denise. He was always there for her. For 20 + years they shared everything together. Now they are together in Heaven. Randy expressed his love through actions. He always seemed to be able to draw upon boundless energy with extreme kindness to others. I was so shocked to find out Randy had cancer. It was painful. I kept positive thoughts. We visited Randy at Perth hospital. I snuck some chocolate kisses through hospital security to Randy. He was very pleased and ate four in a row! He always loved snack foods - chips, peanuts, popcorn and chocolate. He made sure Doug and I had some of those chocolate kisses, that day, for our travels back to Ottawa. Randy always thought of others. That day, in the hospital, he looked like he was totally accepting of his fate and the end was near. Even though we didn’t say it out loud, I knew it was a last goodbye. Death suddenly snatched him away. Even though we enjoyed some great moments, I still feel like I didn’t tell him of my true appreciation. Randy set the perfect example of kindness, attentiveness and thoughtfulness. Someone so special can never be forgotten. Randy is present in our hearts. I am thinking of his family and share their sorrow. Cheryl Dupuis

Randy, In Memory of a Life so beautifully Lived. I am so grateful you were part of my life. I’m also proud that you were my sister’s life companion. Cancer is a thief. It's cruel, unjust and evil. It is my belief we are born for an objective and once that is complete we are called away. I am sad that you are gone and i will miss you. I am happy that you are without pain and are together with your father and my sister in Heaven. I believe you have no regrets as you simply lived your life, your way. I do not have many true friends in life, but it was my pleasure to call you a true friend. I called upon you several times for help and you always answered. No matter how insignificant my request, you always seen the importance it was to me and made it your priority. I tried my best to reciprocate our friendship. When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure. Randy, you are gone from our sight but never from our hearts. Douglas Dupuis

Dear Dianne and Lorne and Family, we were saddened to hear of Randy's passing. We think of our privilege to have met him 2 years ago at Barb and Eds place along with you Dianne. There is nothing that can really ease the pain we feel when we face a loss like this except the good memories of times past.
