Peacefully on December 2nd, 2020 at the age 64, Anita McKeigan passed away in her home with her family at her side after a long battle with cancer. She will be sadly missed by her husband Bruce James Mckeigan. Loving mother of Gregory James Mckeigan and Laurie (Peter) Warford. Dear grandmother of Caleb Glen James Mckeigan and William Maxwell Warford. Treasured sister of Mike (Jackie) Macleod. She was predeceased by her parents George William Macleod and Fernande Marie Macleod.
Born in Hamilton Ont she joined the Canadian Armed Forces immediately after graduating high school. After retiring to life at the Lake, her passion became any hobby that involved needle and thread and that led to volunteering with both Victorias Quilts and the Quilts of Valour organizations. To Anita, family meant everything. She treasured her husband, children and grandchildren and embraced every moment with them. Her hands were rarely still, with every quilt, cross stitch, painting and craft, they were all completed with love. Her gardens bloomed annually with vibrant colours that brought joy to all that visited.
Always in our thoughts and forever in our hearts.
