To Layne Woods children and grandchildren,
Our sincere condolences in the loss of your Mom and Grandmother,
Layne canvased for the Heart Foundation each year and that is how we got to know her so well,
when she found out we were in the Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning business, we did her carpets at the farm house
and also her home on Bass Lake.
Layne would bring us an invitation for the fall dinners each year, which we enjoyed very much, and new many people
there as well.
Layne was a very cheerful person, and we enjoyed her joyful spirit very much.
We just learned of her passing, and watched her service on line, it was a lovely tribute to her life here.
She is now with her Lord and Savoir, although we will miss her big smile, she will be smiling at us all from above.
Sincerely,
Mike and Darlene Meehan, B-3 Bass Lake.

I'm thankful for the many times growing up we got to visit the farm house and enjoy her warm hospitality. She knew she was alway's welcome at our home as well and would show up unannounced many a time and we were happy to see her! I recently visited her new home on the lake a few years ago and I'm so glad I finally took her up to come and visit her. I'm thankfully she is our cousin and I appreciate all her children and send warm condolences to each of you. So thankful she is better off now and I believe we will see her very soon as the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.
God bless,
Grace Millard

To Laurence, Darlene, George and Norman. A special note to tell you how much I appreciated your Mom. She was always welcoming and opened your home to me. I enjoyed quite a few Sunday lunches in your fellowship and stayed my share of nights at the farm house in "the Ferry". She was a very special person and will be missed by all. My sincere condolences to the Wood and Godard families.
