Obituary of Patricia Wills
Wills, Patricia
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our dear aunt, Patricia Wills on January 9, 2021 at the age of 103 years.
Dearly loved daughter and predeceased by her parents Albert and Sarah Wills of Rideau Ferry. Also predeceased by brothers Clarence, Stanley, John and sisters Sarah, Marion and Evelyn. Pat had many cousins, nieces and nephews. Especially close to her, were Julie Hagerman and Charles Parker, to whom she was like a second mother throughout the years.
Born October 4, 1917 in Vanguard, Saskatchewan she lived a long and wonderful life. Pat was an avid traveler which took her to many corners of the world including Bermuda, numerous provinces throughout Canada, Arizona, California, Florida and Mexico where she immersed herself into each of her communities there. She also worked for the Canadian government and helped implement Labrador/Newfoundland in becoming a province in 1949. Pat lived her later years in Oakville and then in Waterdown, Ontario where she passed away at Alexander Place. She loved her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, and praised Him for her long life and many blessings. Pat loved reading God's word and one of her favourite scriptures was; If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9
A family remembrance will be held at a later date at the Rideau Ferry Cemetery where she will rest with her loved ones. Arrangements are in the care of Blair & Son Funeral Directors, Perth.
