Obituary of Jean Wright

Passed peacefully on January 15, 2021 at The Perth & Smiths Falls District Hospital – Smiths Falls Site at the age of 82 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Dennis Wright; her children Dan Wright (Violet), Heather Miron (Doug), and Denise Gray (Scott); her grandchildren Tyler Miron, and Josh & Braden Gray; her siblings Betty Harper (Bert), and Don Stanzel (Phillis); as well as her sisters-in-law Anne Stanzel and Nancy Weir (Earl). Jean was predeceased by her parents Harmon and Mary Stanzel, her brothers Richard and Bob Stanzel, as well as her sister and brother-in-law Clayton and Linda Fleming. She was a manager for many years with Healey Tours & Travel and will be fondly remembered by her co-workers. The family wishes to thank the caring and compassionate PSWs and nurses of Bayshore Home Health, as well as the nurses and doctors on the second floor of the Smiths Falls Hospital for their outstanding care of Jean. In keeping with Jean’s wishes there will be no funeral service. If desired donations may be made in her memory to either the Alzheimer’s Society of Lanark or Furry Tails Cat Rescue of Smiths Falls.
