Dear Grant,Susan and the Niblock family Sorry to hear of Clarence's passing. I had the opportunity to work for your Dad at Niblock
Motors for 5 years. It was the best 5 years of my life. When I applied for the job I told him I didn't know a car from a truck. He said don't worry you"ll learn fast. And I did. He was the nicest Boss I had the pleasure to work for. On a quiet day he would say Close up for a couple of hours and we would go running the roads. Showed me where he grew up and where your Mum grew up..told me all the history of all the area..it was a blast.I could go on for hours...I feel very fortunate and proud to have known him and you family.
I will cherish the memories that I have of him. RIP Clarence..Oh, And don't buy any accident repairs up there!! Jeff Paterson

We moved to Smiths Falls in October 1979 and couldn't have asked for more caring, thoughtful and helpful neighbours than Clarence and Norma. They were also very patient neighbours, who enjoyed watching our 2 very active boys at the time, roughhouse in the backyard and always threw back the hockey pucks, softballs, soccer and baseballs, that quite often ended up in their backyard. We enjoyed our chats with him at the grocery store and he always asked how the boys were doing.Patty and I have you all in our prayers. God Bless.

We were saddened to learn of your beloved Dad’s passing. Both he and your dear sweet Mom made quite the formidable pair. While I was studying nursing at Roberts in the late ‘80’s, Roger remained in the Falls residing in your Grampa’s upstairs apartment on Winnifred St. Without fail, a small white envelop would be quietly slipped under our door each and every month. To this day, we remain humbled by their kindhearted generosity and in knowing that they were one of our faithful prayer warriors. They had hearts of a true servant.
You were incredibly blessed to have had your Dad in your lives for so many years, but with that closeness comes a deeper sense of loss. As our gracious Lord walks alongside you as you grieve, may He tenderly comfort you with His care and compassion. Sorrow runs deep, but love runs deeper ❤️
With Our Sympathy and Prayers,
Roger and Donna Ouellette

To all of Clarence's family,
We truly appreciated both Clarence and Norma's wisdom, encouragement and friendship during our time in Smiths Falls. He truly was a pillar in both the community and in the church. He will certainly be missed.
What a joy to know that there is coming a reunion day and that this is not the end but the beginning of an eternal and glorious adventure.
May God hold you and bring you comfort.
Glen & Mary Louise Snider

Dear Grant, Marilyn and Judy: So sorry to learn of your dad's passing. A wonderful, kind man, and part of so many happy memories of the times our families spent together at your house across from your grandpa's farm; on Thurber Street, at the old church on McGill Avenue, Stittsville camp and so many others. Your dad had a great life, and he and your mom raised a family to be proud of. My sincere condolences on your loss.

Grant, Marilyn and Judy:- Please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of your Dad. He was a wonderful gentleman and I always enjoyed visiting with him. I am also mourning the passing of my brother John Cauley who died in London on Saturday. I have a lovely little story to tell about your Dad and my brother. When John married his wife Sally in 1959, the ceremony was in Montreal. Imagine how surprised and pleased our family was when we arrived at the church for the wedding and there was your Dad sitting in a back seat of the church. He was there to acknowledge the young man up the road and his family. Wonderful neighbours!!!!!! Love from Kathryn Cauley Hudson
