Obituary of James Albert Chapman

Peacefully at the Smiths Falls Hospital on January 23, 2021, surrounded by the love and support of his family, James Albert Chapman of Ottawa, in his 64th year. Treasured friend and Partner of Lynne Sparrow.  Loving and devoted father to Bai-Leigh. James was the son of the late William Chapman and Olive (nee Fortin). He will be fondly remembered by his siblings Winifred, Billy (Diane), Diane, Keith (Lynn), Lenora (Greg) and Carol. Cherished uncle, cousin and friend to many. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no wake or funeral. His ashes will be scattered at his favorite places on Manitoulan Island at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Jim’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Foundation would be appreciated by his family.
