Obituary of Barbara Fern Page
Peacefully, while surrounded by family, in hospital at Perth, ON January 30, 2021. Barbara Fern Pagé, born on April 11, 1933 in Brome Quebec. Predeceased by husband Hiram and subsequent best friend and companion Robert Thomas with whom she loved to travel and truly learned to enjoy life. Predeceased by her parents, Germaine and Gordon Pagé and her siblings Violet, Gerald, and Ronald. Survived by her siblings Beverley, Larry, Maurice, and Linda. Predeceased by her oldest daughter Debbie Covell (Lorne). Survived by her living children Connie (Larry) Benoit, Mark (Bonnie) Foster, Nancy Foster, and Donnie Foster (Colleen Senger). Loving grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother. Barbara had a love of the sunshine where she would sit, read, and watch the birds for hours. She always made sure to have her nails done as this was one of her notable features. She was vice president of Club 60, Smiths Falls Legion, where she had a passion for singing with the group at local nursing homes. Barbara enjoyed a good laugh and as the heart of the family, always found a comical way of reuniting quarrelling siblings and reminded us all that family is everything and forever. Due to Covid19, there will be no service at this time. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. If desired donations may be made in Barbara's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
