Glen, Kaitlin, Rosemary, Steve, John, & Debbie I was so sorry to learn of Leanne's passing. You will miss her & so will everyone who knew her..
She loved music & had a great voice & we often went to a dance where her band was playing. Leanne new many songs & she could play any song requested.
Everyone who knew Leanne, enjoyed her sense of humor & that she good take a good joke as well as give one.
Well one March break about 10 or 11 years ago while they were in Myrtle Beach S.C.. Denice & I were notified that she had some health problems, & was in the hospital there. So we decided that we would stop on our way home from FL & have a visit with her in the hospital.
We had a discussion of what to bring her. There were suggestions of flowers, books or magazines, a box of chocolates etc.. etc., I told Denice all of those are good ideas, & to go ahead to get what Leanne whatever Leanne would like most.
I should mention that I knew Leanne since she was 3 or 4 years old, & as she was growing up she had a strong taste for Ketchup especially Heinz. So I bought the largest container of Heinz Ketchup & wrapped it up in nice gift paper.
Well I have never forgotten the laugh she had when she saw what I got for her.. There are many other good things that happened through the years, that Leanne was involved & I am sure that they bid a grin to your face.

It was nice to read about Leanne's love of music and it instantly reminded me of the family event several years ago at Aunt Doreen's. My daughter Ellanore, walked into the tent and was met by Leanne on the stage singing and playing the guitar for everyone. Ellanore was instantly enamored with the happy scene. Leanne noticed and invited Ellanore on stage to join in the singing and gave her a tambourine to use. We will miss Leanne and the love she would bring to all the family visits and gatherings.

I first met Leanne on a gig I was playing in Almonte about 30 years ago. I was blown away by her beautiful voice and her wonderful personality. I was fortunate enough to back her up a few more times since. I met her again at St. John’s High School in Perth when both my daughters went there. She was always so pleasant and always had a smile on her face. I am sure she will be dearly missed. My wife Pauline and I send our condolences to all her family and friends.

To Leanne's family:
I was terribly saddened to hear of the loss of this incredible woman. We were friends and colleagues at CJET 630/Q101. Even though Leanne and I didn't get to see each other often in the intervening years, when we did run into each other there were always hugs and well-wishes. Her sparkling smile, and fun-loving demeanor were always sure to engage you. She will truly be missed by many. I know I will never forget her.
My sincerest condolences.
