Betty Jane Aston Doyle passed away on Sunday, February 14th, 2021 in her 95th year at Perth Care Community Centre in Perth, Ontario. She is survived by her four children, Brian (Deborah), Karen MacDonald (Paul), Gerry (Anne-Marie) and Christine Heggie (Stephen) her 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Betty was born in Montréal on November 25th, 1926 to James and Hilda Aston and is predeceased by her sister Edith (Don) and brother Philip (Gisela). She is also predeceased by her husband Gerald whom she married on September 25th, 1949. Betty raised her family in Montréal and lived there until 2011. She then moved to Perth, Ontario where she joined her two daughters as well as her brother Philip and his wife, Gisela. Betty was always active in her favourite sports of tennis and skiing. She was also an avid bridge player.
A private family service will be held at Blair & Son, 15 Gore Street West Perth, Ontario K7H 2L7 on Saturday, February 20th, 2021 at 10:00 AM respecting the Covid 19 restrictions. Internment will be at Notre-Dame-Des-Neiges Cemetery, Montréal.
