Obituary of Malcolm Bruce Smith

Smith, Malcolm Bruce
 (Retired electrician Atomic Energy of Canada) peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Thursday, February 18 at the age of 93.  Beloved husband of Anna Smith (nee Reusch) for almost 68 years.  Loved father of Steven (Ofelia), Daniel (Angela), Susan, Patti(David).  Cherished grandfather to Anna Rosa, Alexander, Anthony and Keegan, Hannah, Joshua, Dani.  Loved brother of Irene “Rene” (the late Stan) Tompkins.  Brother-in-law of Ronald (Carol) Reusch, John (Pat) Reusch and predeceased by brothers-in-law Fred and Ferdi Reusch. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Malcolm loved his dog Sparky and the outdoors, spending time on his property on the Petawawa River. He enjoyed cutting wood and never missed ‘social hour’ every day at 4 p.m. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.  Private family services will take place at the Deep River Community Cemetery at a later date.
