It is with great sadness that the family of Gerald Anderson Ivany announces his passing on March 17th, 2021. He was predeceased by his father Garland (Gary) and mother Violetta (Babs). His memory will be cherished by his partner Gail Ivany, sons Peter and Paul, sisters Doreen and Karen and all their families. Gerald will also be fondly remembered by his many aunts, uncles and cousins. Gerry was raised in a military family. He grew up all across Canada, enjoyed a career as a commercial electrician and settled in Ottawa. He was a man of great faith and supported numerous humanitarian charities around the world.
The services are private for the family. He will be laid to rest at Highland Park Cemetery in Carp with his mother and father. Arrangements are in the care of Blair & Son Funeral Directors, Perth.
