It is with shock and sadness that i learn of the passing of my brother, Tom. Although we had not seen each other much the last few years my thoughts were often of you and your family. I recall with fondness the great times we had when we were younger, filling the boat with bullheads and walleye at wood lake and the time spent at the cottage at Dalhousie lake. My deepest sympathies to Janice, Tom jr., Dan and Wendy. Rest in peace my brother.

Dad, we miss you so much already. None of this makes sense to me right now. You were so brave at the end on your sudden journey home from Florida. Our prayers were truly answered as all the little miracles fell into place and you were so loved by your children and mom as you slipped away. It is with sadness that we heard of our brother-in-law's passing. Anne and my deepest condolences go out to Janice and our nephews Tom, Dan and niece Wendy and their families during this heart wrenching time. It was great to have a "big brother" enter my life and one of my many memories was of Tom taking time to drive me to take my driving test so many years ago. His thoughtfulness and smiling face will be missed!

For nearly 30 years I got to call this man dad. I could not imagine a better father in law. He treated my like one of his own children. From proud moments to straightening us out. Always caring and loving, hilarious and silly. Hearing his hilarious life wisdoms and knowing all his grandkids proudly learned their first swear word from him.
I cannot imagine how life goes on without this amazing Husband of most incredible woman I know, Father of 3 amazing kids, Dad to 3 thankful outlaw kids and life altering Grandfather of the 6 most wonderful grandkids.
I am so thankful to have my own piece/version in my life, loving his oldest son, Tom Jr.
This family is forever changed but will continue to make Poppa proud of his Wood14. ❤

I was so sorry to hear of Toms passing. In the short time we knew him, we came to love him. He was a very special man, a loving husband, devoted father and last but not least, a baseball Maven. I’m sure you’ll be high enough up there to catch that foul ball Tom. You will be sorely missed and I’m glad we had the opportunity to know you.
