Obituary of Elizabeth Anne Kerr-Wilson
KERR-WILSON, Elizabeth Anne
Elizabeth passed away quietly at the Carleton Place Hospital on Tuesday, April 6th 2021. She was 88. Born and raised in Scotland, Elizabeth graduated from Leeds University before immigrating to Canada, beginning her chosen field in social work. A career woman long before that was common, she earned an MSW while working, raising a family, restoring an 1850s farmhouse, and engaging in a passion for gardening. Her commitment to public service, family, community, and religious faith endures to inspire her surviving family: sons (Robert, Andrew, and Ian); daughters-in-law (Linda, Nancy, and Jane); grandchildren (Alan, Ross, and Sydney); and great-grandchild (Mila).
In remembrance of Elizabeth, contributions to the Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital Foundation https://cpdmhfoundation.ca/foundation or the Arthritis Society https://arthritis.ca/ or CROW Lanark https://crowlanark.com/ would be appreciated.
The services are private for the family. The arrangements are in the care of Blair & Son Funeral Directors, Perth.
She is, once again, with her loved and loving husband, John Robert.
