Obituary of Lloyd George Follett

Lloyd George Follett of Smiths Falls, in his 94th year, peacefully at home on April 10, 2021. Lloyd was a well respected and loyal employee of the Bank of Nova Scotia for 43 years and enjoyed his retirement for these last 34. He leaves to mourn, his 2nd love, Evelyn Imerson, his wife of 29 years, his children, Judy Follett (Michael), Jeff Follett (Janice) and Craig Follett (Carole) who he raised with his 1st love, Doris Leah Demings (1930-1988). He is survived by 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, his sister Mildred Thistle, step-daughter Tara Imerson, 12 nieces and nephews and 28 grand nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by parents Captain George Follett and Jessie Follett, 1 sister and 4 brothers, granddaughter Jodi Robertson and step-daughter Lisa Fleming. Lloyd’s life was a life well-lived, well-laughed and well-loved. Rest in peace and know you will be truly missed. At Lloyd's request there will be no service. Cremation to take place with a private interment later in the year. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Westminster Presbyterian Church in Smiths Falls or The Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital Foundation.
