Orok, Mona Marjorie

Mona passed away peacefully at Lanark Lifestyles, Perth on Saturday April 17th, 2021 at the age of 93 years.  She was daughter of the late David and Willa Whyte and beloved wife for 67 years of the late Fred Orok.  Mona was predeceased by her brothers Craig, Clark and Ronald Whyte and is survived by brother Murray (Emily) Whyte and sister Bev Clow (Ken Lackey).  She was the loved and respected mother of Robert (Beryl), Judy (Paul) Vettorazzo and Joan (David Hauraney).  Mona will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Andrew (Helen), Matthew (Nicky), Nick (Amanda), Ryan (Cindy), Chris (Sam), Erin (Chris) and Graham and her great grandchildren Jarrod, Heidi, Imogene, Weylin, Ali, Grace, Walter and Simon.  Mona was co-founder and owner of Orok’s Hardware Store in Lanark for many years.  She had a full and happy life; she loved her family, friends and her gardens.
