To Val, family and cousins,
I want to thank you for the virtual funeral service and video tribute. I just finished watching it and it was a testament to who Pat was. The music, minister and speaker touched on Pat’s influence on others. Although we had not seen one another in years, I will remember Pat as laid back with a dry wit and a smile that didn’t quit. It was wonderful to see the grandchildren’s names in the obituary-I know Pat would have shared many joyous times with them. Please know that I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers as you begin the very difficult journey of grief.

Pat and I went to the same public school for years and then went our separate ways.
I ran into Pat about 15 years ago.The first time our path's crossed since the old school days.
I can't remember exactly where and when that was but the one thing I do remember is that Pat had not changed a bit.
He was still one of THE nicest people I ever had the pleasure of knowing.

Dear Mrs. McNeely and Family,
I was shocked when I read of Pat's passing, Pat was a great guy who I got to know when I worked at the Smiths Falls Water
Commission and the Sewage Plant in Smiths Falls. He did a lot of work for us on the electrical components of both facilities.
It was always a pleasure seeing Pat walking through the door, as there was always lots of laughter and a few jokes.
We were very lucky to have Pat working for us, as there didn't seem to be anything he couldn't figure out concerning our electrical
systems. He will be greatly missed by a lot of people, including myself. Rest in Peace Pat,

Dear Val and family....We were both shocked and saddened to hear about Pat. No words can take away the pain you must be feeling right now. Life is so short for some. He will be happily remembered from all who knew him. Gerald remembers their friendship started in air cadets. I remember one of our first double dates was with you and Pat and Gerald and I when he lived on Perth highway. He cooked us sphagetti for dinner. It was a great night.
