With deep sorrow, our family announces the passing, at Lanark Lodge on Thursday, April 29th, 2021, of Margaret Malvina Ferguson, (nee Ritchie) in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Kenwell M. Ferguson; beloved mother of Gloria (Doug) Currie of Perth; beloved Grandmother of Donna (Kerry) Schonauer of Lanark,  Allan Currie of Carleton Place and Ross Currie of Perth, Australia. Beloved Great-Grandmother of Nicole Schonauer, Brittany Currie and Haley (Ryan) Schonauer-Darou and beloved Great Great Grandmother of Jayce and Keaton Darou. Also sharing our sorrow are her Sister-in-Law, Bev (late Jim) Ritchie, and her many nieces and nephews, with whom she had a very close connection. Margaret was the eldest of 6 children born to Olive (Stinson) and Jim Ritchie of Smiths Falls. She was pre-deceased by brothers Jim, Bill (Helen), and Donnie (Joyce) Ritchie, and sisters Kay (Jack) Grant and Helen (Stan) Lancaster.
A private family service will be held in the Blair & Son Funeral Home.
